  1. When will my product be shipped?

    On average products are shipped about 5-7 business days after your final payment has been submitted. You can retrieve your tracking number directly from your online account.

    We do our best to accurately estimate when items will ship from our facilities and/or our suppliers facilities. Estimated shipping dates are based on several factors, including your destination address and how quickly we can obtain your item(s) for shipment.

    Large items, such as televisions, may take an extra 5-7 business days for delivery.

    Dell items are shipped directly from the manuafacturer and can take approximately 2-3 weeks for delivery.



  2. I submitted an email to Lay-Away.com but haven't heard back?

    Our company goal is to answer all email inquiries within 24-48 hours. If you don't get a response before then make sure that our response didn't go to your Junk Mail Filter.



  3. Can't Find what I'm looking for?

    Lay-Away.com buys from various manufacturers, distributors and retailers. If you don't see what you're looking for in our online catalog, please do your own personal research about the product your looking for on the Internet. Once you've made your selection send the below information to support@lay-away.com and we will attempt to set up a LayAway plan for you.

    * Manufacturer's Part Number.
    * Brief Product Description.
    * Internet address where you found your desired product.



  4. How long does it take for my online payment to reflect in my balance?

    If your payment attempt does not reflect in your balance typically means you requested an invoice copy versus a payment submission. Please review the payment instructions below:

    How do I submit a payment online?
    1. Login to your account.
    2. Select the "Make a Payment" link.
    3. At the top of the screen, submit the amount of your payment.
    4. Next choose "I am paying by Online Check" and enter your banking account information.
    5. Click "Make a Payment" button to submit your payment.
    6. You will receive an email confirmation of the payment being made and the payment will reflect to your account immediately.



  5. Can I cancel my layaway plan?

    Yes. There will be $35 restocking/processing fee of monies paid for ALL cancelled lay-away plans. Refunds are processed directly to your bank account within 3-5 weeks. To cancel your layaway plan, email the Support Team at support@lay-away.com to request an order cancellation.



  6. How many payments do I have to make?

    The default is set to your first of six (6) monthly lay-away payments. This default amount is the payment that has to be made at least once a month to keep your lay-away plan active and current. All lay-away plans are for a maximum of 6 months. There is no penalty for completing your layaway plan early.



  7. I submitted my order......what's next?

    After order submission, a welcome email is automatically generated and sent to your email address. You may check your account online 24 hours a day and make a payment on your layaway account when it fits your budget. If no initial layaway payment is made on your layaway plan within 7 days your order may be deleted.



  8. What happens if my product is discontinued while on lay-away?

    If your product(s) is discontinued while on lay-away, a comparable item from the same manufacturer will be selected by the Support Team. Before the item is shipped a support team member will notify the customer before shipping so the customer may approve the new item. After confirmation, Lay-Away.com will ship your new product(s).



  9. Who is Lay-Away.com?

    Lay-Away.com, was formed to offer consumers products for their home without the traditional rules of credit. We offer a viable alternative to consumers who don't have access to credit cards and consumers who are on a tight budget. At Lay-Away.com we aim to provide anyone, regardless of their household income or credit status, with a broad choice of high quality products for their home at affordable prices.



  10. Is shipping included?

    Yes shipping is included for most products except some select products. Some items have a flat shipping fee due to oversized packages or special shipping requirements. If applicable, any additional shipping charge will reflect in the final total after checkout.

    All products are shipped UPS regular ground. Customers who prefer their product to be shipped express mail or overnight should contact the Support Team for additional shipping charges. We do NOT ship to PO Boxes

    We do our best to accurately estimate the shipping costs and when items will ship from our facilities. Estimated shipping dates are based on several factors, including your destination address and how quickly we can obtain your item(s) for shipment.



  11. What is Lay-Away?

    Layaway is a purchase plan designed for customers who want to buy merchandise without using credit or paying the full price immediately. Layaways are different from credit purchases. When you buy on credit, you take the merchandise before you pay. Credit also involves extra charges such as interest charges and other fees. When you use a layaway plan, you pay in full through installments before getting the merchandise and there are no, or very low additional charges.



  12. What is my account number?

    Your account number is your email address. When submitting any request to customer service please use the same email address so he/she can locate your account for faster response.

  14. What is the Return Policy?

    All Opened items may only be exchanged within 30 days of your product's shipping date, for the same item only. No refunds are available for any items, if opened. To make a return, please go to the "Contact Us" section. Email us with the subject line stating "Return" and a Customer Service Representative will contact you shortly.



  15. I need additional help, who should I contact?

    For support 24 hours a day, please email the support team at support@lay-away.com.



  16. How do I delete an order that was placed in error?

    Contact support@lay-away.com and request the order to be canceled.



  17. What are my payment options?

    Currently, we ONLY accept payments via Online Check or mailed check/money order. We do NOT accept credit card payments.



  18. Why has my order been deleted?

    Orders that have been placed but no monthly payment was submitted within 7 days of your order date will be deleted. If you're still interested in that particular product simply resubmit your order.

    Also, if your product has been discontinued and no layaway payment was submitted your order will be deleted.



  19. Do you sell refurbished products?

    We do NOT sell refurbished goods. ALL products sold through Lay-Away.com are new.



  20. My check came back Insufficient Funds, what happens next?

    If your check is returned NSF, we will attempt to redeposit the check one additional time and your balance will be debited $25 for each NSF check submitted.

  22. Can I make a FULL payment for my order?

    No. We provide a service to customers that love and need to use layaway. Although we appreciate your business we're here to service layaway customers only. All layaway plans must be open at least 45 days. We recommend Amazon.com as a great online source for shopping. All full payment attempts will be refunded in full.



  23. What does it mean if my order is pending for order verification?

    Most orders are fulfilled instantly, however, for security reasons we select some orders to be manually verified. All orders are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping. If there is an issue with the verification process of your order, we will notify you by email. Your order will not be released until you fulfill your verification requirements. This process further enables us to combat fraudulent orders from being placed.



  24. Is there a minimum payment amount that I must submit?

    When submitting an online payment, the minimum amount submitted must be at least $10. If you wish to submit a payment lower than $10 please mail your payment to our office.



  25. Does Lay-Away.com carry inventory?

    Like most internet based companies, Lay-Away.com does carry inventory but most products are shipped directly from the manufacturer or supplier. If your product is not available by the manufacturer or supplier at the time of your payoff your account will be refunded in full.



  26. How long do I have to complete my layaway plan.

    All layaway plans should be open and active for at least forty-five (45) days. Layaway plans completed within 45 days will be canceled and refunded in full.



  27. Do you ship outside the United States?

    No. At this time, we do not ship outside of the US.
